My daughter is 12 years of age. She had major stomach cramps last month. Now this month her cramps are more severe and they have lasted 5 days. We have given her Motrin, hot bath, and placed a hot washcloth on her lower abdomen. Nothing was helping! We bought some Aleve liquid gels and a heating pad. That helped for a little while. Every time the Aleve wears off my daughter begins to cry with what I think is premenstural cramping but she has not started her period.

You tried all the right things. Take her to a GYN for a pelvic exam, even though the doctor may say that there is nothing 'wrong' in the respect that many women go through this. She may have to start doing pelvic tilts and other exercises to try to counteract this. It can be the shape of her uterus and where it is, her hormones, her diet, her bowels... start googling cramps, sorry. Have her keep a list of what foods and drinks make her feel better or worse - worse might be caffeine, carbonation, spices, fats, etc.
