I have a 3 year old son, his father scarcely came around for the for 6 months, then apparently went into the army and was discharged during boot camp, no one knew he was home for 2 months and that he had spent every penny he had earned during that time, including my sons. Since march 4th 2010 he has not been around contacted, bought or sent anything. His family has never came around since the day I brought my son home.

I have not gone after child support or anything at all, I have a fiancé that's been there raising my son with me since he was 2 months old. I don't want him to come around I love that him and his family are not a part of his life.

My question is is how can I get his right terminated and when would my fiancé be able to adopt him?
