I've been having severe issues with my television lately, it's time to upgrade. However, I don't have the money. So, I want to know what is wrong with my Television and how much it would cost to have it fixed or even how to fix it myself.

I believe it's an issue with Black Levels, because when I go to my Xbox 360 Dashboard and mess around with Black Levels it has an adverse effect on the problem. The higher the Black Level, the higher the distortion.

With my TV, what happens is wherever there is contrast there is a powerful ghosting of black lines and such.

Here is a link to the issue captured directly from a Dazzle Capture Card. The effect is more adverse via the captured video, but it is the same issue I'm having. It seems like my television is dying finally.
