On his other cell was a message to the same girl "Good Morning i love you" he claims he Did not send those messages. Should I believe him? Do phones do that sort of thing by themselves?

I agree. Why even bother showing him what we wrote. He knows that the phone didn't send the message, and anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence wouldn't have even though twice about his lie.

What you do now is show him that you're not as dumb as he hoped. You're not buying his lie, because his lie is so stupid it makes no sense. You break up with him, and show him that you're smarter than he thought you were.
