I am 56 and have not had a period for 4 years. Is it now safe for me to have unprotected sex with my husband?

Pregnancy is ALWAYs a possibility with unprotected sex. I've delivered a baby to a 52 year old who was in menopause for 8 years.

Sex could be more enjoyable because of the LACK of estrogen?

And what about STD?

Wrong answers in my opinion -

Hello,
Its not really unsafe to have unprotected sex after menopause. Menopause is not really like having a baby or anything, your body does go though some chages but not enough to really stop having sex. Infact sex when your older can become more enjoyable because of the lack of estrogen

Where did you get this information? I'd like to see the source, because it makes no sense at all.

Sex is more enjoyable with the lack of estrogen? Really?

Please post the source of this info.
