Hi bobplolo,
The clue here is the idea that the scientific method is not only applicable to inanimate physical objects such as moving objects and atoms, but to the social sciences as well. Sociology is an example of a social science. It is also an example of scientific naturalism.
The difference is that the former studies inanimate objects and how they behave under certain conditions and the later investigates how humans behave under certain conditions. The important point is the belief that we can use the same scientific methods for both.
Anthropology generally comes under the category of a science, but there can be problems when we try join this science to the sociological aspect. Can you see the types of problems that might arise from this? I hope this gives you a starting point

And race does not decide social and culture difference. Your statement or question is flawed in its statement

Hi Fr. Chuck,
Yes, I think the question was designed to lead the person doing the essay to a discussion on phony biology.
