I'm looking for a horror/ sci- fi movies from the 80's where a group of people get wrecked on an island. When they are pulling a lifeboat up to shore, a creature grabs one of the guys. He gets away but starts changing into the creature. The group finds what looks like an abandoned research facility and finds out that its where they tested atomic weapons or something. I thought it had Rick Springfield in it but can't find it under his name, so maybe an actor that looks like him? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
