Hi,

I have created a mannual in MS word and now want to make an index which should be linked so that just by clicking on index I can go to the page where details is written.

Please suggest me if it can be done without macro

Basically you have to identify what words or phrases you want to include in your index. Then bookmark them. Then use the Index builder on the References ribbon to generate the index.
