It could go either way. Do you think you had herpes before you started dating her? If that's the case you probably gave it to her.
If you didn't have it and you're 100% certain you didn't have it before you started having sex then she could have gotten it from someone else and passed it on to you. Are you or have you ever had any symptoms of herpes?

Go see a doctor they can do the appropriate tests to tell you if you are infected. STI's in men are usually more difficult to detect because they don't show symptoms as much as women, so it's better to go to the doctor and find out for sure!
