My period last month was on sept 15th, I had unprotected sex around the 25th (told it is a fertile time) and a week later felt pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, abdominal cramps (sharp pains in both breasts one day) was very tired, eating a lot and diarrhea. My period was due on the 12 and it did not arrive despite period pains. I eventually had very very slight pink discharge in my underwear. I thought this to be implantation spotting? I then began a 2 day bleed a day later (13th) My periods usually last 5/6 days, begin heavy with cramps lasting only the first day. The blood was very fresh which it normally is much darker, it was in clots and did not flow normally, only passed when wiped or in the toilet. (sorry.. tmi) it was a very painful and difficult day, I was told this could be early pregnancy miscarriage. The blood continued for just one day (so 2 days in total) and still 2 days later I am experiencing period type cramps.

In all honesty I am hoping to be pregnant still despite the bleed. I did take a pregnancy test which was negative.

Does anyone have any stories and can tell me their outcomes? Any information would be so great so I can get an understanding of what happened, as I never have irregular periods. (wasnt on birth control, ttc)
