I have a friend who see's flashes of things that have come to pass. She just found out her Grandmother on her birth father's side was gifted as well, but has passed away. We are looking for people who share this same gift that might be able to give her some insight or guidance for this gift.

Can you clarify which type of happening is going on? In your title you refer to the future but in your post you refer to the past. Which is it?

For most, they merely see things sometimes, often they don't place or know if they happen or not. Most have no control over them. Plus because it is more like a "dream" and it is hard to see everything happening, they miss details unless they can learn to remember facts they see better

She actually does both to clarify, she see's things before and after they happen. Example; She took a different route on the way home one day, never took that route before, and can't explain why she choose to go that way. As she past this piece of carpet rolled up on the side of the road & this flash of a dead body came to her. The next morning it was all over the news. Another example; she was driving over this bridge and another flash came to her of the bridge collapsing. A week or so later they were repairing the bridge (I can't remember if she said the bridge in fact did collapse or if it was about to and they caught it time).

No. As far as I know she has never had to touch anything, this vision just comes out of know where and is quick, it's a flash, but she is able to know what it is trying to tell her.
