Meaning you also desire them? I think it's possible and happens for a lot of people.

Are you asking if it's possible to love someone without physically expressing that love?

Are you asking if it's possible to love someone without physically expressing that love? no as in you're attracted to them in all ways?

I think you can be attracted to some one in all ways, but then if you are just basing that on a friendship basis then that is why you would be friends.
If you are talking about a sexual relationship which would include you being friends to start with, then no I don't think you necessarily desire them in all ways.Opposites sometimes attract the other person
There will be times when you do not want to be with them, although you still desire them sexually or otherwise,it does not mean that you feel any less for them.
People have their own individuality and therefore need time to express that in their own way. When they then come together as a partnership/friendship then they would share their experiences of daily life occurrences making their bond stronger as time moves on.
If you are with one person 24/7 then life would become tediously boring... you have to do your own thing on adaily basis, this will make you a more interesting person to be with, give new things to talk about which will feed the relationship/friendship keeping it alive.
It does not mean that you desire the person any less.We are all individuals and need to express this to survive,if not then your friendship/relationship would wither and surely die.
