My last period was August 1, 2012. My period never comes on a certain date, but should have come now. I am 48 years old, no children and have never missed a period. Sadly, false negatives are common, some women do not show positive till into the third month sometimes. It is the POS that is seldom wrong.

Are you using the urine from first thing in the morning ? As soon as you wake up for best results ?

Thanks Chuck. I did a test first thing this morning and it read negative as well.
I have considered maybe it's the change of life. I will do another morning test in a week. I have an ob/gyn appointment end of month.
By the way, what is a POS?
