View Full Version : Is this girl interested in me? How should I go about this?

So there's this girl in one of my classes, and I want to get to know her. Last week in class, everybody had to say something that annoyed them. When I said mine in a funny playful way, the girl directly turned around, looked in my eyes, and smiled. Later, the professor brought up what I said as a reference to the new topic, and the girl did the same thing to me. Both times, I smiled back at her, making eye contact.

Now this week, I sat directly next to her. And during class, through my periphial vision, I noticed her turning her head, looking at me, and then look back. She did this at least 3 or 4 times. I know she wasn't looking past me because I sat next to the blank wall. She also played with her hair a lot.

I know this isn't much to go by, but how much interest can be seen with these few things?

My problem is trying to talk her. All my girlfriends in my life so far have been girls that either talked to me first, or girls that I had no interest in at first, but later developed into more of an interest when we were already friends.

Is it OK to just go to her after class one day, say hi, and ask her out, or should I try having a conversion with her first? I just don't know what to do in situations like this.

I'm 19 by the way. Help is appreciated

Go up to her and say hi and let the conversation go on from there.
