After I shaved my underarm, it might look OK for a little while, but still I can see the black root there, and does anyone know how to get rid of them and have the perfect clean look?

Your best bet is probably waxing, but it isn't necessarily cheap and it will hurt quite considerably for a brief time.

Yes there is a way-I saw this on a daytime talk show. Did you know you should shave your armpits up as well as down? Rinse the razor after each time you go up or down and reapply shaving cream. They should be almost as smooth as a baby's bottom when your finished. They also mentioned that your armpits need moisturizing too and they recommended a deodorant with some type of moisturizer.

I agree with missk. That's what I do and my armpits are really smooth when Im done and I don't see any black roots. Waxing seems pretty good too but probably painful.

I have the same problem with my armpits... I even wait a few days but there is still and aftershadow and the black root! All I want is non stubbly armpits for the summer... Can anyone help or give advice?! :(
