I've had a white vaginal discharge for the last 10 months. No Pain, no odor, no itching, no burning. Sometimes the colour changes from white, to clear to pale yellow. I assume it started after having unprotected sex once, but that too without complete penetration. I began treatment 4 months after detecting the discharge.
Over a period of 4 months my doctor prescribed the following medication one after the other: Forcan, Clinigen V3, Candid V3, Candidstat, Vibact, Forcan, Onabet V1 suppositories, Vibact, Onabet suppositories and Oflox 200 mg tabs. Nothing worked. Finally he said try yogurt for 10 days. I did and saw a change within 3 days. But I had to stop the treatment for 5 days between as I was travelling and when I restarted the yogurt therapy it didn't work the second time.

Finally my doc sent my vaginal swab for a culture.

My vaginal swab report said:

"Decreased number of lactobacilli. Gram negative rods present. Occasional pus cells and clue cells seen. No Candidial cells/ Gonococci/Trichomonas vaginalis seen. Predominant growth of Klebsiella species".

Impression: suggestive of alteration in normal vaginal flora.
------
I have been tested for HIV 1 and 2 and Syphillis and was negative for all.

All antibiotics have failed on me. Then a week ago I started to douche with 3% H2O2 mixed with a salt solution and a tsp of povidone iodene. It's been six days and the discharge is much better but not yet gone. After 5 days I stopped for one day and the discharge came back but in a much smaller quantity. I'm also taking one multivitamin which has folic acid, 1 vitamin C and 1 acidophillus each day and drinking cranverry juice. I just bought some apple cider vinegar to douche with. Should I go ahead?

You need to stop doing everything because there is nothing wrong. You report said "suggestve of alteration in normal flora." That means that your vagina and the secretions are normal and healthy.

This could also mean that you are slightly disrupting the normal flora with all of your interventions.

Agree, the report sounds like it says you are normal.
