I have a 97 buick lesabre with 292,000 miles on it. I can't sell it because ir has a salvaged title and when I got it the tag place told me I am the last owner. I don't have money to get a new car until income tax time. I need this car to last for about 6 more months. 3 days ago it just died on me while driving. It took about 30 min to get it cranked again. Ever since then it has started dying on me every time I drive it, but it'll crank right back up for now. But it will cut off like 2-5 times just on my way to work. What's the problem??

That is like saying I have a sore arm what is wrong,

You get the car examined.

Could be
Fuel filter,
Fuel pump.
Lose battery wire,
Bad alternator
Bad plugs ( when is last time they were changed)
Plug wires, ever replaced them?

Do you have a lot of oil leaks ?

What do you do to get it started

. Check for codes and pending codes with a scan tool.

. Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM).

. Replace the coil packs, if the problem persists.

The ICM is likely the main culprit.
