Can a Pharmicst voice opinion if front of some store customers that I was using too much of this class 5 cold medication and could not sell me anymore. To me some customers could easily think that I was breaking the law or was a drug addict.

He shouldn't have done it, but you will have a very tough time reporting this without tapes and statements from witnesses - and even then you may get nowhere. He can easily claim that he said nothing within earshot of others. HIPAA is mostly about electronic transmission of medical information within the health network. Out of thousands and thousands of complaints, less than 5 have been considered for action. Your best bet is to tell him how you feel and say that you are taking your business elsewhere, and taking as many other people with you as you can.

Was this an over-the-counter medication kept behind the counter, not on the shelf? Does State law regulate the sale? I very much doubt you have quoted his exact words.
He may have told you the limit is X bottles and he cannot sell you any more. I can't believe he said you're "using" (which is a word a Pharmacist most likely would not use) too much of "the class 5 cold medication."
It's your word against his - if you feel you were wrong, sure, report him to the Store Manager. Expect that you will then be reported to your local Drug Task Force which, by the way, is the procedure Pharmacists in many States are SUPPOSED to follow if you are "over buying."

If this is a prescription medication, prescribed by a doctor, it is, if it is a issue of what normal product he will or will not sell you not
