FeelinLikeAFool

I work in an office and find a delivery guy that comes in once or twice a month attractive. He has been coming in for a few years, but other than a hi and bye and a few sentences in between we have never really talked much (in part because I'm always with one or two other people)- but he always makes it a point to say something to me and we smile at each other like crazy. Last week when he came in, I was miraculously by myself and he made it a point to start a conversation with me. He said he had been coming in for years and never knew my name (so I told him) and we began talking about his photography (his hobby). I asked what kind of pictures he took, which prompted him to pull out a business card with a link to his pictures and he told me to check it out (obviously the card also had his cell number and email address, but he never said anything about contacting him). We talked another minute when he looked me up and down and said I would make a great model and asked if I would model for him. Of course I got all giddy and excited and said yes practically before he could even finish asking... long story short, I thought he was on the shy side and that was his way of giving me his number because I did get the vibe that he was flirting, so a few days later I decided to text him telling him I liked his pictures, he answered me almost immediately saying thanks and he thought I would, I sent a reply and that was the last I heard from him. Now I'm thinking I may have misread the situation and he was just promoting himself and I feel like a fool for texting him. Maybe he was just flirting with me innocently, not looking for anything to come of it. Now next time he comes in I want to hide in another room because I'm embarrassed that I put myself out there. What's your read on this situation?
