I've been trying to find this song. I can't remember the tune or the lyrics but the video is the only thing that I can describe.

It's by a solo white male artist. Most likely his debut video single at the time. Saw it on MTV between '99 - '03.

Genre: Pop/rock most likely.

Video is as follows:
A white guy with dark brown hair, wearing blue jeans, possibly a dark/plaid shirt is standing in an alley closed off by a chicken wire gate. He has his guitar, plugs it into the stereos and starts playing and singing. As he continues he starts to hover in the air. His music starts to attract a crowd. As the music gets louder, the wind starts blowing. A girl in the crowd is trying to make her way towards the singer.

Sadly, I don't have much else to go on.
