05 dodge neon key stuck it turns but won't come out shifter moves with out brake

. Check all under dash and under hood fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Check for a faulty automatic transmission gear position switch (most likely).
. Check for a possible faulty steering lock assembly (key interlock solenoid and key interlock switch).
