Hi, our dtr has a 95 honda civic del sol si that has been sitting for a couple of months. We tried to start it but it won't crank over. We replaced the spark plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor button. Still doesn't crank over. Rotor button spins. Tested the coil and it is getting power to everything except where the spring is. Does this indicate the coil is bad? Please help, hubby is frustrated and 17 y/o dtr is impatient... thanks

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil inside the distributor. Apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM.

TxGreaseMonkey--my husband bought an Import Direct distributor cap and rotor button. Are these OK? Also when he was testing the coil, the tester did not light up when he applied it to the spring on the coil. Should the tester lighted up or not? Will wait for your reply. Thanks

On a Civic that old, he needs to buy a new ICM and coil, in addition to the rotor and distributor cap.
