Most certainly WILL... its a prescription drug... one you should NOT be taking with your history.

I do not have a history nor do I take them or anything else. It has just been a question going around saying it won't show up. Is it an opiate?

Codine most certainly is... people with legitimate prescriptions for it don't have to worry about it on random drug tests.

Yes codeine is a natural opiate and breaks down into morphine in your system and that is what is detected in a drug test.

If one claims it is not detected that is possible because people metabolize drugs at different rates and drug tests have cutoffs. So detection of any drug is dependent on time and individual metabolism.
