I Turned 17 3 months ago, and this guy who I've kind of known for awhile, is 14, turning 15 in 2 months. I mean he's so different than the normal 14 year old boy. He's really mature and seems like he gets a lot of things like I do. Wich I don't know is so different for me because many guys my age aren't even that mature. I am sooo attracted to him and kind of really like him. But I don't want to tell him because I don't want him to think I am a creeper. And what if he does like me back? Then what? He's a freshman and I'm a senior. School would eat us alive and his parents are kind of funny about people he dates. I don't think dating younger is weird but when I think about dating someone 3 years older than me I'm kind of creeped out. So I don't know. What does everyone else think? Is it too petafileish? Or should I try and tell him that I like him?

What would be "pedophilia-ish" is if you were sexually attracted to him. And sex with him could get you a jail term.
I won't call it weird, but it certainly is unusual for a teenage girl to be romantically attracted to a much younger boy. But stranger things have happened. On the other hand, right now, this relationship is totally one-sided. So you need to either drop it and move on, or sit down and talk to him. If you can't do that, then what you have is an infatuation, nothing more.
Even if you do talk and decide you want to date, you will need his parent's permission first and there MUST be nothing sexual.

Tell him you have nothing to loose and if he likes you back you need to talk about all your worries like attention at school maybe just hang out for now its not weird to be good mates with somebody younger then take it from their..

Ask him how he feels about you, and if he likes you back, he needs to talk to his parents and you need to talk to yours. If the parents say no, then it doesn't matter how either of you feel. He's a child, and his parents decide whether he's allowed to date, and who he's allowed to date.
That's the law.

It's your instinct telling you that you are creeped out. He is a 14 year old boy and you are almost 18--and adult! Why would you be interested in someone that young when his parents won't approve? I find it very disgusting. Why don't you date someone your own age and leave this middle schooler alone.

Sexual attraction isn't what I was talking about. I don't want to like have sex with him. I just like him. And we flit and text and hang out but nothing relationship wise. I was just asking for people's opinions thanks for not being a jerk.

Okay I specifically said I JUST turned 17, and he Is about to turn 15 and I did not say his parents don't approve, I said they can be funny about who he dates, But our parents know each other and they know me so I don't know. And I don't know why I am interested in him, I just AM! I can't control how I feel. I'm not desperate, I can get guys my own age and older, I just like him. And he's not a middle schooler, he's a freshman and I'm a senior.
