I was willed by my husband's, estate property & possessions that he was 1 of 2 survivors out of 7 siblings. I am the last, widowed by the death of my husband. He had a sister that died after his death, but she had no children either. All other siblings preceded them in death. There is 2 Houses of on estate, which I reside in the 1 built during our marriage, the other built by his deceased sister. There is a niece in California that sold some tracts of timber on the very property that my husband & I tended for about 55yrs. It was done without my consent of or signature on the undivided estate. What legal recourse do I have to prevent that from recurring & halt all sales of timber & or property without my signature or consent... Please can you lead me to the directions I must take. My husband will was probated in 1977 in Claiborne Parish Louisiana & is on record at the Parish clerks office

You have to firm up the title to the property. I would consult a local real estate attorney to make sure the title is properly registered to you.
