Hi. I have been in a relationship with my partner for almost 4 years. I am 29 and he is 34. We were together when I was 15 and he was my first love. I left the country and the relationship broke up because I thought it would not work. Now we are back together after 10 years apart but things just don't seem be right. He loves me but says he can't forget that I left him all those years ago. We live apart as he lives 3hrs away. How do let him know that I will not leave him again and get him to trust me. I would love for us to be able to live together and start a family but he is not ready. Its been 4 years almost and I see no progression in the relationship. I love him and don't want to lose him. I just wish we could be happy together.
