Some women do experience bleeding in early pregnancy and mistake it for a period.

Generally if you have a period, then no, you're not pregnant.

But, a faint positive usually means that you are pregnant.

Worst case scenario is that you were pregnant and you're miscarrying.

Wait until your next period is due and test again, or see your doctor.
