How do you calculate the Riser requirements for Grey Cast iron castings?
Can we be able to calculate for a block of size diameter 500mm and height 300mm

Can you please explain further what you are building? I can't picture what sort of 'block' you are talking about.
In the US, "the maximum riser height shall be 7¾ inches (196 mm). The riser shall be measured vertically between leading edges of the adjacent treads. The greatest riser height within any flight of stairs shall not exceed the smallest by more than 3/8 inch (9.5 mm)."
500 mm x 300 mm = 19.7 inches x 11.8 inches
I recently built steps for myself with a rise of only 5" - just right for a little old lady.

This riser has nothing to do with stairs, it is the supply cavity for metal casting. This is an engineering question best answered by a professional. Doubt you will find an answer here.

(I wondered, but couldn't resist bragging about my 5" high steps.)

The way you answer questions, I would have guessed bigger and younger.

I wish, but I'm 65 and 5'1 and shrinking fast.

Well I've got you beat, 71, 6 ft and shrunk 1" last year. At least you're not "shrinking Violet ".

Unlike Joy when I first saw the heading I thought we were discussing plumbing raisers.
Interesting question but I don't think the OP gave out enough information to answer it.
By raiser are you referring to a supply cavity?
Can we be able to calculate for a block of size diameter 500mm and height 300mm And this is all that will being stored in this " supply cavity?
This sounds like a question form the UK. Cheers, bTom
