Hi, I have a headache that comes and goes... it starts as mild radiating pain on d back of my head near my neck then progresses to become severe pain that radiates back and forth between back of head to upper left side of my head. During this time I feel strong jitters and my vain on d left side of neck and head (by my temple) pulses so strong that it's visible when someone looks at it. When this happens I have mild blindness in d right eye that alternates from blurry to blackness. This happens for a good 5-10 minutes when it happens then goes away completely leaving me weak and with soreness on d top of my head. Any ideas what could be triggering this??

Yes I am a female and no I am not pregnant. I agree with u. I shld get to hospital the only prob is that I have been there and by the time I am seen by a dr the headache is gone. Ekg shows nothing and they refuse to do an mri being that I have no insurance and that the headache is gone by the time I get there.

I am a 31 year old female that is not pregnant. I have been to to er and prob is that by d time d dr is in to check me out d headache is gone. This only lasts up to 10 minutes when it happens so d wait is way longer. Have had an ekg and everything looked OK and hospital refused to do an mri since headache is gone by d time dr evaluates my symptoms and no insurance.
Any idea what may be causeing this?

What is your blood pressure like?

My blood pressure is normal. I did have high blood pressure at one point but took care of the issue by taking care of myself... lost about 40lbs so my blood pressure is not the issue. I am going through some stress and since d stress started... d severe headaches started.
