My wife is freaking out right now and she is not getting any answers. I am not sure if this is even a dermatology issues but she has been experiencing some pain in the upper arm by the biceps for nearly a month now. She has noticed recently there was a semicircular marking around a small mole she has that seems to come and go. She went to doctors office about it and they said they don't know what it is. She is now saying that she is experiencing the same type of pain in the other arm now around the same location. I thought it might be something like MRSA but only guessing here. Any Ideas? Thank you

To help ease the pain, two things I recommend are that you take Motrin or use a heating blanket, hope she feels better :D

You went to the doctor, they said they don't know and you just left it at that?
"Hmmm, we don't know what it is..."
"OK"
Find another doctor that is willing to help. We can't diagnose this online and you are best off to get a professional to examine it in case it's serious.

I've had cellulitis (first cousin of MRSA) and it doesn't sound like that, but I'm not a doctor and believe this needs another check by a dermatologist. The mole coming and going concerns me, and the pain doesn't sound good.
If the doctor doesn't know what it is, he should refer you to a specialist. Please ask him to do that (if there are insurance coverage concerns); otherwise, find a good one on your own and go asap.
Let me know when you find out what this is.
