So I went no contact for a few days after we broke up. I did then send her a text saying that I agreed with the break up and it needed to happen. Then wrote that I have some exciting news to tell her sometime. Then told her to take time for herself for now .and at some point maybe we can be friends. She tested back 2 hours after that saying she was glad that I agreed with the break up, then asked what the news was- I ignored that then 4 hours later she asked me how my new job was, and haven't responded yet. Today is her birthday should I call to tell her happy birthday? And telling going to busy the next couple of weeks, tell when it dies down to get a cup of coffee?

No contact doesn't mean to keep talking and texting. If it was me (and it has been before) I would just stick with the no contact and let it go.

There should be contact very little I thing because you once had something with her, that isn't completely dead{ your post is making it obvious} even if you not with her anymore.
