I've been dating this guy for a few weeks now, and the first time we hung out, we ended up having intercourse. Is this a bad thing when you just started dating?

If you want a reputation as being easy...

WHat happens if you got pregnant by then, or contracted HPV or Herpes... maybe even AIDS. You might not even know their last name yet.

Doesn't do anyuthing to help build an actual relationship either... why buy the cow if you get the milk for free.

I don't have a reputation as being easy. And there's things called birth control and condoms. So. It wasn't planned. I don't think you understand the question.

Oh, but I do understand... you are aware you can be on the pill, use condoms AND third method of contraception AND still get pregnant...

We have several moderators here that got pregnant despite using multiple forms of birth control at the same time. One of them is a Registered Nurse that works in that field. So I'd think she was doing it right.

And all it takes is you having a fight with him... his talking to his friends... (and maybe even if you don't... one person talks to another)... and you are forever known as the girl that spreads her legs on a first date.

I'm a guy... I've been your age... I rememeber it vividly... I know what guys do and how they talk... which is not unlike how girls talk among themselves... most of them are even likely to exaggerate what really happened... but what is NOT likely is it being played down.

Just being honest with you... you might get away with it this time... but odds are someone's going to talk and brag to his buddies and then the vacation is over if you do it in the future..

Jumping in too quickly can make a relationship tough. Getting to know each other first is always a good idea.

But it's too late for that. Since you've already done this, why not talk to him about it now, tell him you feel that you both had sex a bit to early in the relationship, and that you'd like to get to know him better before you have sex again. If he really likes you, and not just the sex, he'll agree, and you two can start from the beginning.

You do realize that there is no birth control, or combination, is 100% effective right? I got pregnant not once but TWICE using the pill AND condoms.

Thank you! That's exactly what I'm going to do too. Thanks for the help!

And I got pregnant using the pill, a condom, and a spermicide. The second time I had sex.
