I had what I assumed was normal period cramps on my right side, 3 days before I actually started bleeding. When I did start my period my blood was orange, very light, and I only experienced cramps on my left side. Today is day 4 of my period and my blood is slightly darker than it was and my flow is a little bit heavier, but not by much. I'm also having similar symptoms that came with my first pregnancy. Is it possible that I'm pregnant I'm not even sure if its possible to have your period after you've conceived? I was having sex with my partner for appox 5 days before the first cramps on my right side. I don't want to make a trip to the hospital to get checked if pregnancy isn't an issue, and this might just happen to be an irregular period. Advice?

After searching threw some of the posts and reading multiple questions and answers, I've decided to go to the hospital as soon as I leave work. There's a good possibility that I'm pregnant based on similar posts I've read. I will update this thread later on in the night.
