View Full Version : USB port settings to charge a iPod

I have 5 usb ports in my desktop PC's CPU. All the 3 back USB ports works fine and are fully functional.
But I need to use the front 2 usb to charge devices like iPod or charge and connect mobile phone etc.
I tried to get into device manager and check some settings for that 2 usb ports, but could not find anything that could help me as there it says device working properly.
Then why I can't charge my iPod while connecting through USB.
Seeking for detailed and working guidance or assistance for complete solution.

Some ports are not capable of charging, and your iPod will ask the port for permission before attempting to charge itself (not all devices are so polite). It very much depends on the hardware inside your computer.
