The film I am looking for is from the 1950s which I saw when very young.

It is is in colour ans et in Paris, I think it was about some crooks who staged a robbery of some description or who we spies; in any event there were a lot of car chases in 1950 model Citroen Onze Legeres,

In the final scene the hero manages to overcome the baddies in an aeroplane and parachutes to safet as the aircraft spirals earthwards and crashes.

That's about all I can remember; would really like to nail this one if possible,
