When calculating for child support, my gross monthly income is set by my spouse, who is my employer. So my ex is complaining that the income I receive is purposely low so that calculations in the dissomaster will show that I don't make much money.
In fact we do not do this on purpose as is claimed by my ex. But how does this look in the eyes of the judge should this go to trial? I heard that judges look at the numbers in the dissomaster but do whatever they want to when setting child support.
I also learned that what my spouse makes is not figured into the calculation but is this a special circumstance? Thank you very much.
