My employer terminated my appointment on the 3rd of August,2012 for taking permission from the administrative and academic headmasters through text message but insisted I should have called him.The letter was backdated:the date of writing was 11th August and the date he delivered it to me was 3rd August,2012 which was the closing date for the last term to end 2011/2012 academic year.He also added a cheque for an amount less than my one month salary.I requested a pastor friend to apologise on my behalf which he accepted on the 11th of July WHICH WAS THE SAID DATE I APOLOGISE to him.I am the social studies subject and English language teacher for the junior high school:i teach the final year students.I think I deserve 3 months salary? What should I do or how do I reply.thank you.

What country is this... Its clearly not the USA and we would need to know that in order to know what if any rights you might have.

First, where? Laws vary by area.

Second, were you under a contract or in a union?
