I am in the process of fitting a new toilet, however the soil stack is only 3 " and the pan of the w.c. is 4". This is an old "pre-fab" building with an internal stack. Is there a connection available, with a 90 degree bend that reduces from 4" to 3" that fits directly onto the pan. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

Please explain what you mean by,
pan of the w.c Are you referring to the discharge horn on the bowl?

is there a connection available, with a 90 degree bend that reduces from 4" to 3" that fits directly onto the pan. Yes! It's called a 4 X 3" reducing elbo. But if all you're doing is replacing one toilet with another why would you need this fitting. Don't know if it will fit a pan or not until I find out what a "pan" is. Back to you, Tom

Thanks Harold. Never heard it called that before.
Alan, n Are you telling me the horn in the bowl's 4" in diameter? What's the brand name of your bowl and why would you need a reducing fitting? Pleas explain in detail. Back to you, Tom

Hey Harold.
You said
TomPan = bowl Then how do you explain this.
the pan of the w.c. is 4".Does that sound like the horn at the discharge end of the bowl? Let me know, Tom
