Hey, I am on felony probation for non authorized use of a motor vehicle, I recently violated that with another 1st degree felony of aggravated robbery... in the state of Texas. Everyone says I'm going to get 5-10 years in prison. What are the chances of me getting out of this and not going to prison?

You have a better chance being elected president than not going to prison or jail for some time anyway.

Just the new charge without probation will almost always get you some jail time. I would say be ready for 3 to 6 personally maybe get out after serve 1 to 2 years.

I was hoping they would drop the charge to a theft charge. And I would sit maybe 12 months... but do you really think I would get more than 2 years for this?

Ok, if you have a good attorney and get the charges reduced you may get by with even 6 months, and do it in county, not state prison
