My girlfriend and I have known each other 5-6yrs. We were together a couple years ago. But I was wild. Getting into trouble and never home. We went our separate ways. Never lost contact with each other. Matter of fact when she got with someone else,anytime I called she would do anything to get to me. I was stupid then. Ended up in trouble legally. She had been with someone that she was with before I met her for the last year and a half. Well while I was in prison and before I went we saw one another. Loved each other. She stayed in contact with me during the time I was away. We talked everyday. She said she was trying to leave who she was with so we could be together when I came home. I changed during my time in prison. I saw the light. I want a family and so does she. The day I got out we were together. The problem now is her ex's little girl. She got attached to her. It isn't her child but her ex's with a former girlfriend of his. I understand getting attached to someone else's child. But we were great for the first week or two. But then she started getting distant. I knew she was talking to her ex. But she would tell me she wasn't. I'm a jealous person, and I know I am. But we have been in some pretty heated arguments lately. She started working late. Going to her moms a lot more often. She doesn't text me the things she used to. We don't really talk. Because every time I try to tell her how I feel about anything she starts bringing up the past and the way I did her. I've tried everything I know. Also her ex recently called an wants her to take his little girl to her moms. She told me about it, but knowing the way we have been why would she even consider doing that? Is it over for us? I'm lost and confused.

I think you two rekindled a bit of the flame but the fire went out again, at least for her.
Leave her alone. I don't think there is anything there. Just got ties so you can move on.
