What do you mean by "text type"?

t.a.p is a form of writing or something:

T.ext type
A.udience
P. (I can't remember that one... )
For our homework we need to find the definition...

I know what T.A.P. is, but don't under what you mean by "text type." Do you know what it means? Is that what you were told T is?

P = Purpose.

Are you supposed to write a story or article?

Text is the voice you use -- formal, informal, first person, third person.

Give me an example of first person informal.

My English teacher was going through what t.a.p was, and she said to find the definition of 'text type' I think it's a form of writing or something...

If you read the thread, I said --

Text is the voice you use -- formal, informal, first person, third person.

P = purpose (of the story or article)
