I live in lousisana. My husband has a pension. This is both of our second marriage. Before we were married he had his sons listed as beneficiaries. By law in my state will it automatically go to me in the event of his death or whom he has listed?

I think we are going to need clarification. Some pensions allow for surviviors benefits but never to the children. Is it possible this is something else and your naming it wrong? Like IRA or 401K ?
