Hi, I have a desktop that contain a hard drive of 350Go, but only 2 partitions, drive c: 200Go and drive d: 150Go, now I want to shrink the drive c: and release some space to create a new partition, I've tried the built-in disk manager of win7, it can not achieve, so I've been searching on internet and found some softwares to resize the partition, mini tool seems very popular, and also partition assistant, easeus magic, which one is better, and free?

Thank you in advance.

Hello, I had once the same problem with you and finally it has been solved by an excellent freeware for partition the hard drive, highly recommend you to use AOMEI partition assistant, it can satisfy all your needs, trust me, I found an instruction to follow: how to resize partition (http://www.disk-partition.com/resource/free-resize-partition-windows-7.html), good luck, see you later.

Esther is right, I tested this freeware. Really helpful. But it's better to read this guideline before using it, Resize NTFS Partition With Three Ways without Losing Data. (http://www.disk-partition.com/resource/resize-NTFS-partition-windows.html), this article describes clearly how does it works, awesome!
