Arm sales and national interests make strange bedfellows and what is amazing is who is in bed with who or is that whom?

It seems the US just can't bring themselves to curb arms sales and nor can Russia, North Korea, Venezeula and Cuba. If I didn't know better I would think there is a decided pinkish hue to the leanings of these negotiations. So, on the one hand the US seeks sanctions against Syria which, of course, would restrict Russian arms sales and on the other hand it protects it's own, this is no surprise considering The NRA lobby as well as the US position as premier arms dealer and warmonger.
Just imagine being placed in the position of not being able to sell arms to criminals? The whole economy would collapse
