My 13 month old son is taking amoxicillin/potassium clav for a ear infection. He is now drooling uncontrollably and acts like he can't swallow. It appears that he has a place(sore) on his tougue. Could the antibotic cause this

My 13 month old son is taking amoxicillin/potassium clav for a ear infection. He is now drooling uncontrollably and acts like he can't swallow. it appears that he has a place(sore) on his tougue. Could the antibotic cause this


Call the Doctor! Something is obviously can't right. I would be concerned about the drooling BUT it appears that he can't swallow? Do you know how quickly a child can lose consciousness?
