I have been invited to a wedding. M and I have been dating for 2+ years, but we never "date". We sit in my room and just chill. WE ARE OVER 50 YO! This wedding is important to me, he refuses. Help. He said he would be uncomfortable cause he didn't know everyone.

I can't even figure out what your question is!
He won - he won what? You meant to write 'he won't go?' So what, all of us won't go to something or other.
Is there some deeper question here, such as why you two have been sitting in you room for 2 years and the relationship is going nowhere? Or the significance of refusing to go to a wedding, because men see it as a sign that you want to get married too?
Then please say so.

Sounds like he should lose, tell him not to bother coming over when you get back from the wedding, tell he who cares if he does not know anyone.
Next do you want to go out on dates ? Being over 50 does not mean you just set, I am "well" over 50 and work out every day, teach martial arts to people in their 70's. I do go to the senior center and play pool and watch movies every couple week.
He sounds like he has already died. Kick him to a curb if he does not want to live.

If he does not want to go to the wedding, go without him. But why are you dating a man for two years who only wants to sit in your room and not go any where?
That's on you. You have put up with it.
I'm over 50 and I have a very active social life. I only sit in my room when I'm tired.
