I have a beautiful 4 year old jack russell. He has always loved his walks, weusually go 2 or 3 times a day for a long walk.
For the past week he has refused to go, I get him out of the door and he digs his heels in, I have tried everything to get him to walk. I took him to the vet last week, and he is perfectly healthy. The vet said he has extreme anxiety, he has always been terrified of loud noises, bangs, fireworks etc, but now hw is even scared of the rain and if it is cloudy. I got some calming tabs from the vet but they have no effect on him.
The only way I can get him out of the house is if I take him in the car, other than that he refuses to walk, in the house he just lays around, it is like he has lost interest in everything. All this has happened suddenly, one day he was fine and very eager to go for his walk, the next he is like a different dog. It is really upsetting me to see him like this. I don't know what to do
