I just replaced my anti-siphon bib. When I turn it on the first time, to water my lawn, I have normal water pressure. When I turn it off, and then back on the next day, the water pressure isn't what it should be... it's dropped to a trickle.
I have taken the stem out and put it back in several times and always get the same scenario: normal pressure at first then it drops when it's later turned back on.
When I remove the stem, I notice that the brass piece at the end that sandwiches the two washers, pops out of the stem about 3/8" of an inch and feels like it's spring loaded when pushed back in. Is that the way it's supposed to be? Or is that a manufacture fault? I'm wondering if that could be the problem? I just can't get constant, normal water pressure.
Thanks for the help with this... It's getting rather frustrating.
