I met this guy in 8th grade, and I think I fell in love. But we could never see each other, so he broke up with me, and then 3 weeks later told me he didn’t like me. And I cried myself to sleep for months. Even now I miss him and I am going to be a sophomore in high school. My friend says she thinks that he still likes me, but we never talk so I don’t see how that would be possible. I meet guys that grow to like me but I never like them back or I don’t trust them because of this one guy that I still like. I feel like I just can’t trust guys anymore, but I still want this guy. What should I do?

I think you should let this idea of love go for a while and concentrate on giving yourself a chance for fun. Eventually you will learn to trust again, and be able to see all the time you wasted on someone you never could talk to.

Why was it you couldn't talk and have fun? Just curious. You don't have to trust to have fun, or make good friends.
