I am 14 and am getting my cartilage piercing done, I don't know if I should get it done by gun or needle? And does it hurt?

It doesn't hurt with the gun; it is quicker, needle is slower and if you have a low pain thresshold, then it hurts

NONONO get it done with a needle, the gun can shatter your cartlidge as you are only 14 and the cartlidge is not full grown. Trust me look it up on YouTube, all the guns that have gone wrong.

For my 14th birthday I really want to get my cartilage pierced. My only concern since my cartilage would still be growing if the piercing would move as I grow. If I were to getting pierced I would definitely go with the needle. Would you rather have 5 more seconds of pain or an painful infection lastly multiple day?
